📖 Overview
This chapter contains the famous story of the snail's horns (蜗角之争) — two kingdoms fighting a war on the horns of a snail, killing hundreds of thousands of soldiers in a space too small to see with the naked eye.
Zhuangzi uses this image to put human affairs in perspective: all our grand struggles, empires, and wars occupy a space infinitely smaller than a snail's horn in the vastness of the universe. The chapter also explores the nature of time and the illusion of progress.

🏮 War on a Snail's Horn
On the left horn of a snail lives the kingdom of Touch; on the right horn, the kingdom of Struggle. They fight terrible wars, leaving hundreds of thousands dead on a battlefield smaller than the tip of a needle. Zhuangzi asks: is this not what human empires look like from the perspective of the Tao?
