天地自然，秽气分散。
洞中玄虚，晃朗太元。
八方威神，使我自然。
灵宝符命，普告九天。
乾罗怛那，洞罡太玄。
斩妖缚邪，度人万千。
杀鬼万千，中山神咒。
元始玉文，持诵一遍。
却邪延年，按行五岳。
八海知闻，魔王束首。
真圣卫轩，凶秽消散。
道气长存，急急如律令。
Heaven and Earth, in their natural purity,
disperse all turbid Qi.
Within the cavern, mysterious and void,
the Great Origin blazes bright.
The awe-inspiring spirits of the Eight Directions
restore me to my natural state.
The edicts and mandates of Lingbao
proclaim to all Nine Heavens.
Qianluo Dana, the Gang of the Cavern,
the Supreme Mystery —
they behead demons and bind evil,
delivering countless beings to salvation.
They slay ten thousand ghosts — the Zhongshan Divine Spell.
The Primordial Jade Scripture:
recite it once,
and evil retreats while longevity extends.
Walk through the Five Sacred Mountains;
the Eight Seas know your name.
The Demon King bows his head;
the True Sages guard your chariot.
Foul impurities dissolve and scatter —
the breath of the Tao endures forever.
Swiftly, as the law commands!
✧ Spiritual Purpose ✧
The Mantra of Purifying Heaven and Earth is one of the most comprehensive purification mantras in Taoism. While the earlier mantras purify the heart, mouth, and body individually, this mantra purifies the entire cosmic environment — Heaven, Earth, and all directions. It commands evil spirits to disperse, restores natural order, and transforms the ritual space into a realm of pure Tao energy (道气). This mantra is particularly associated with the Lingbao (灵宝) tradition and is used for large-scale exorcism, blessing of spaces, and the empowerment of talismans. It ensures that no residual negative energy contaminates the ritual and that the divine presence permeates all dimensions of the practitioner's world.
