About the Author 作者简介

瞿佑，字宗吉，浙江钱塘人。亲历元末战乱，洪武年间入仕，永乐间因诗获罪被谪戍十年。其文笔细腻，尤擅写情，被后世誉为"明代传奇之祖"。

Qu You lived through the wars that ended the Yuan dynasty and the founding of the Ming. Exiled for ten years for writing a controversial poem, he channeled his experience of loss, war, and injustice into these twenty tales — stories that influenced Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese literature for centuries.
