"Gen shen di gu" originates from Chapter 59 of the Daodejing. Deep roots and a firm foundation are the way to lasting vitality. Laozi discusses governance and self-cultivation, emphasizing (frugality) — the importance of conservation and economy. Deeply rooted in the Tao, one flourishes and endures.
