The Numinous Treasure Heavenly Worthy — custodian of sacred scriptures and divine teachings. Residing in the Upper Purity Heaven (上清境), he holds the Ruyi scepter and embodies the principle that the Dao can be known through study, ritual, and spiritual practice.
太清道德天尊
The Way and Its Virtue Heavenly Worthy — the deified form of Laozi, author of the Daodejing. In the Great Purity Heaven (太清境), he holds a fan of five auspicious colors, embodying the Dao made accessible to humanity through philosophy and ethics.
玉皇大帝
Supreme ruler of Heaven and the mortal realm. Though subordinate to the Three Pure Ones in cosmic rank, the Jade Emperor governs all celestial bureaucracy — the divine administrator who oversees the fate of every living being.
西王母
Sovereign of the western paradise and keeper of the peaches of immortality. Far more than a consort — she is an independent primordial power who predates many male deities in Chinese religious tradition.
四御
Four celestial emperors who assist the Jade Emperor in governing the cosmos. Each presides over a cardinal direction and aspect of existence — from the protection of众生 to the administration of thunder and weather.
