The Primordial Heavenly Worthy — the supreme deity who existed before the universe began. Seated in the Jade Purity Heaven (玉清境), he represents the source of all creation, the undifferentiated Dao itself. He holds the sacred pearl of primordial chaos, from which all ten thousand things emerge.

上清灵宝天尊

The Numinous Treasure Heavenly Worthy — custodian of sacred scriptures and divine teachings. Residing in the Upper Purity Heaven (上清境), he holds the Ruyi scepter and embodies the principle that the Dao can be known through study, ritual, and spiritual practice.

Daode Tianzun

太清道德天尊

The Way and Its Virtue Heavenly Worthy — the deified form of Laozi, author of the Daodejing. In the Great Purity Heaven (太清境), he holds a fan of five auspicious colors, embodying the Dao made accessible to humanity through philosophy and ethics.
