'One flower, one world' embodies the Huayan teaching of 'non-obstruction between phenomena.' A single flower contains the truth of the entire universe; a single leaf embodies the Buddha's dharma body. This is not poetic exaggeration but a profound insight into the holographic nature of reality — every tiny existence contains the totality. Zen Buddhism brings this into daily practice: seeing the deepest dharma in the most ordinary things.
